The updated Falcon Heavy is now the world's most powerful operation rocket with 27 engines firing at liftoff. This is the first commercial launch of the "Heavy" which is boosting the Arabsat 6 Satellite.

It was all smiles following the flawless lift-off of a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket complete with its 6460 kgs (13200 lbs) cargo. SpaceX will try to land two of the first-stage boosters back at Cape Canaveral and the core booster on an ocean platform.

Falcon Heavy carried a communications satellite forSaudi-based telecom firm Arabsat, which will beam internet and television services over Africa, Europe and the Middle East. That's why the second-ever launch of its Falcon Heavy rocket - and the first to carry a payload for a paying customer - was a key milestone for SpaceX.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 Heavy rocket is ready for launch from Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center, Fla. on Thursday.

India claims space debris poses minimal threat
Commenting on P Chidambaram's statement on Mission Shakti, Reddy said that a mission of this nature can't be kept secret. Some 150 scientists worked round-the-clock and some 2,000 components were sourced from 50 private industries.

Since then, the United States military and private clients have signed contracts for Falcon Heavy launches, and NASA has raised the possibility it may use the rocket for its planned missions to the Moon.

The Falcon Heavy was poised to blast off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday night with a communication satellite.

The Falcon Heavy central core booster lands on a drone ship stationed hundreds of miles out in the Atlantic Ocean.

Today's landing shows that not only can the rocket launch a payload into orbit, but it can also successfully return to Earth. The red Roaster - with a mannequin, dubbed Starman, likely still at the wheel - remains in a solar orbit stretching just past Mars.

3 things learned as Manchester United suffer crushing defeat to Wolves
United could have been 3-0 up inside the first 20 minutes before Diogo Jota cancelled out Scott McTominay's first senior goal. And we created our own downfall really. "This was always going to be a tough game and the performance deserved a win".

While SpaceX runs its own broadcast for launches, including multiple angles and detailed stats so viewers can get a full view and scope of the incredible landings, they don't offer an up-close shot as good as the one captured by DasValdez. But the middle booster missed a seaborne platform it was created to land on, and instead splashed into the ocean.

Beyond that though, the Block 5 upgrades add almost 10 percent more thrust to Falcon Heavy compared with the demo mission past year.

The satellite is created to provide television, internet, telephone, and secure communications to customers in the Middle East. That launch was the biggest rocket since the Saturn era ended in the 1970s.

SpaceX Readies First Falcon Heavy Launch for Paying Customer
Lockheed Martin built the satellite, along with a second one, for Arabsat as part of a batch of contracts worth $650 million. When the rocket flew a year ago , its two side boosters made synchronized landings on side-by-side ground pads in Florida.
