Fortnite is getting Reboot Vans which work exactly like Apex Legends' respawns
In duos and squad games, fallen teammates will drop Reboot Cards on death, which can be picked up by surviving teammates and taken to a Reboot Van to bring those once-dead players back to life.
Multiple teammates can be revived at once by anyone in the squad regardless of who picks up the Reboot Cards. And the van will also have a cooldown period, so it can't be spammed.

Epic Games has announced that it's adding Reboot Vans to Fortnite.
In Fortnite modes with respawn, players often keep their items and instead lose some materials when they die. Teammates can then take that card to a Reboot Van and bring them back.
Doc feels that Apex can sometimes feel like a team deathmatch with teams frantically running around the map searching for kills - rather than playing smart in a battle royale. Additionally, any rebooted squadmates will be unarmed so if you've revived them you'll need to drop some of your weapons to get them back in the action. Sound familiar? It should because it's pretty much a carbon copy of Apex Legends' system. This will then respawn the eliminated players back into the game at the Reboot Van with the dev video showing off footage of how this will occur.
According to the early patch notes, the Reboot Van will headline update 8.30. Epic has confirmed that the Reboot Van is going to hit Fortnite next week. It's unclear if the reboot vans will be included in the upcoming "Fortnite World Cup." But in the next big update to the game, you will no longer have to sit out the rest of the match, twiddling your thumbs. Especially a game so popular that it is really the only threat Fortnite has right now. Files related to the feature first appeared in the 8.0 Season 8 update at the end of February.
