Appearing on "The Late Show" with host Stephen Colbert, CBS's Gayle King responded to remarks made by Fox News host Jesse Watters.

On the theory there is no detail too small in the R. Kelly saga, and with Gayle King's 80-minute interview A-matter having already aired across the week on CBS This Morning and CBS Evening News, the network has issued footage in which King scolds the singer for visiting McDonalds after his February 25 release from jail on sex abuse charges.

"It was a great compliment, but thank you for letting him know that we're two different people", Oprah's BFF explained she wrote in the email. "'And could you let the rest of your colleagues know that all black people do not look alike'".

"I mean...you're just sort of yukkin' it up at McDonald's", she scolded. On Thursday, they thought Robin Roberts and Gayle King were the same person.

Colbert noted "it's not OK, but it's OK".

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue at the 2019 Commodity Classic last week told reporters, a "magnificent conclusion to the U.S". The Wall Street Journal reported Washington could lift most or all of its tariffs on Beijing while a summit between U.S.

A panelist immediately corrected Watters, saying that it was not King but Roberts who did the interview.

King said she thought that if she told him to calm down, it would make the situation worse. I said I don't want to sit down with him if he is going to lawyer up.

Watters quickly apologized after being corrected on the air, and then later at the end of the show held up a small dry erase white board that read, "I'm sorry Gayle + Robin".

Gayle King had the ideal response when a political commentator confused her with Robin Roberts.

Among the questions King asked during the 80-minute interview was about a stop Kelly made after his February 25 release from a weekend in jail on sex abuse charges.

R. Kelly found himself back behind bars on Wednesday, where authorities say he'll remain until he pays the more than $161,000 he owes in child support. Instead, she said, "I thought we were witnessing the self-destruction of a man having a breakdown, and that's never a good thing to see".

Well, as they say, it' was caught on video and will live forever.

"I just think, considering the seriousness of the charge, I just wouldn't think you'd go and hang at McDonald's".
