Cohen 'Lied About So Many Things,' 'But He Said No Collusion'

Donald Trump says Michael Cohen testified there was no collusion — he did not say that
Cohen was one of Trump's closest advisers before he pleaded guilty to tax crimes, fraud, lying to Congress and campaign finance violations.
Cohen told reporters, "I'm committed to telling the truth and I'll be back on March 6 to finish up".
Democrat Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Cohen would return for further questioning next Wednesday to give lawmakers another chance to follow up on allegations of wrongdoing that Cohen leveled at his former boss this week.
The public hearing is believed to be the first scheduled appearance before Congress for Sater, who once had an office in Trump Tower and is seen as a mysterious figure who could shed light on dealings between the Trump organisation, his campaign and Russian Federation.
During the hearing on Wednesday, Republican members of the Oversight Committee also suggested Cohen, who had a reputation for being one of Trump's most fiercely loyal aides, only changed his tune in the hopes of receiving a reduced prison sentence. Trump has repeatedly denied the allegation, as has the Kremlin.
Cohen provided a second cheque, saying he believed its signatures were Donald Trump Jr.'s and Weisselberg's.
"I'm an old tax collector and an old accountant, and it seems like [Trump] was trying to tell the banks that he had a lot of income and wealth, and tell the tax collectors he had minimum income and wealth", Mr Sherman said.
Victoria's Secret closing 53 stores after poor holiday sales
Slumping "in store" sales is causing the parent company to take quick action by closing 53 North American Victoria Secret stores. This marked its 16th consecutive quarter of double-digit positive growth. "That's what it is", he said in the interview.
Republicans seeking to discredit Cohen also seized Friday on a video clip that has recently resurfaced from a November 2016 appearance by Cohen on CNN.
While the president's dialogue in the discussion didn't include anything too eye-opening that we haven't heard in the past, it was Sean Hannity's words which may have actually sparked an invitation to sit before a House committee to testify in the Trump/Russia probe.
Cohen said he had no direct evidence that Trump or his campaign colluded with Moscow during the election campaign, but that he had suspicions that something untoward had occurred.
Weisselberg has served the Trump family for more than 40 years.
"So that's why I say, this is all about building the narrative out", he added.
"Mr. Cohen testified truthfully before the House Oversight Committee".
In his Friday tweets, Trump highlighted Davis's associations with the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, whom he referred to as "Crooked Hillary".
Cohen told a House panel that President Trump was a "racist, a con man and a liar".
In December, Cohen pleaded guilty and received a three-year prison term in cases prosecuted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and federal authorities in NY.
Ronald Fischetti, a veteran criminal defence lawyer in NY, said Cohen could get a reduced prison term if prosecutors deem he has provided substantial help in their investigations.
Cohen has met with the NY attorney general's office regarding its investigation into Trump's charitable foundation, provided the office with documents "concerning a separate open inquiry", and cooperated with requests from the state's tax department, his attorneys said in court filing before his December sentencing.
That's not quite what Cohen said.
Jordan and Meadows also claimed that Cohen made false statements in regard to his apparently well-known desire to get a job in the Trump White House.
The porn actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, said she had a one-night-stand with Trump in 2006.
In other tweets Friday, Trump suggested Democrats were using Cohen to investigate his business dealings and finances because a two-year investigation into possible coordination between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign "has fallen apart". "He must have forgotten about his book when he testified", Trump tweeted later. Cohen said Weisselberg helped him "figure out how to" pay off Daniels after Trump allegedly instructed him to do so.
