Ex-NASA Engineer's Fart-Laced 'Glitter Bomb' Stuns Package Thieves

Some Bloke Made A Glitter Fart Bomb To Get Revenge On Xmas Package Thieves

As many as 30 percent of Americans say they've suffered from missing or stolen delivery orders, according to a survey by Xfinity Home, Comcast's home security service.

Following an experience where he had an item stolen from his front door, former NASA engineer Mark Rober chose to take matters into his own hands.

Philip Rivers hilariously trolls Chiefs fans after win
Again, it is understandable given the Chiefs had beaten Rivers and the Chargers nine straight times that complacency had crept in. One of the NFL's leading MVP candidates, Mahomes did pass for two touchdowns and 243 yards, but he never took over the game.

A porch pirate in Brea thought he scored with a fancy electronic gadget, but was instead hit with a glitter bomb developed by a former NASA engineer. So Rober, an engineer who worked on NASA's Curiosity rover - a spacecraft which is now collecting data on Mars - chose to take matters into his own hands. But Mark Rober's glitter bomb trap for package thieves proves it can be a bit messy, too. A Global Positioning System tracker in the phones would let him know where a package ultimately ended up.

He's spent six months crafting a beautifully over-engineered revenge package that looks like an Apple product. The package was also rigged with several phones with cameras to capture the thief's reaction.

Donald Trump knew hush money was wrong, says Cohen
When asked for his take, Cohen said it sure "seems like" Trump is afraid, because "that's what he does" in these situations. Prosecutors confirmed last week in a filing that they believed the president ordered the payments to protect his campaign.

As Rober points out, if any of the thieves had bothered to check the (fake) shipping label they'd have seen the "HomePod" was being delivered from Kevin McCallister to Harry and Marv. Rober explains exactly how everything works in the YouTube video below, but basically, when an unsuspecting thief opens up the package, glitter shoots out everywhere, fart smells fill up their location - and four Android smartphones record everything and upload the footage to the cloud.

The video already has over 7 million views, as of Tuesday morning.

In June, London-based tobacco company Imperial Brands Plc took an undisclosed stake in closely held Oxford Cannabinoid. However, the global cannabis opportunity remains "large and untapped", said Vivien Azer, an analyst with Cowen.

Moral of the story: Don't steal other people's packages!
