A Fly Jamaica Boeing 757-200 aircraft overshot the runway at Guyana's main worldwide airport early Friday, injuring several people.
Its right wing and engine were badly damaged.
That included 82 Canadians, one American, 35 Guyanese, one Pakistani and one Trinidadian.
While the pilot tried to make the emergency landing he was unable to to get the aircraft to cpmpe to a complete stop before reaching the end of the runway.
