Daniel Cormier On Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones: 'The Mega Fight Is Jones & I'

Daniel Cormier Jon Jones

Immediately after Cormier's maiden 265lbs title defence, attention turned to the prospect of him have a trilogy fight with Jones.

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis tells Brett Okamoto that Daniel Cormier went back to this "Olympic days" in their title fight headlining UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Cormier, who also holds the light heavyweight crown, made quick work of an overmatched Lewis with a rear naked choke in the middle of the second round.

"There are no surprises with me", Cormier said. Oh boy, look at that!

Netflix cancels Marvel's Luke Cage
Don't be surprised if that stays that way and Daredevil and The Punisher joins the rest on the cancellation heap next year. We have heard that Disney is not considering moving Luke Cage to the upcoming Disney Play service for a third season.

As if you needed reminding, Daniel Cormier is one of the greatest of all time.

History says Cormier will have a hard time walking away.

He called out former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE star Brock Lesnar for a match in 2019. "If Daniel Cormier wants to come back down to light heavyweight, he'll challenge one of the contenders for my belt".

Cormier had it so easy on Saturday that he probably could fight Lesnar on Sunday.

Jamal Khashoggi: Saudi crown prince calls reporter's murder a 'heinous crime'
In a speech Tuesday, Erdogan laid out a timeline his government has been working on since the initial investigation. He said the kingdom will continue with reforms and spending on infrastructure.

"The Black Beast" said he was loosening up as the bout progressed, but Cormier managed to finish him off before he could truly get in a groove.

Jones has ruled out a trilogy, and Cormier's next challenger will surely give him a better fight than Lewis. Jon Jones, the former light heavyweight champion who will fight Alexander Gustafsson on December 29 at UFC 232 in Las Vegas for the light heavyweight belt that Cormier now holds, is clearly the greatest of all-time.

Before campaigning in the heavyweight division in various MMA promotions, Derrick Lewis had to endure a three-year prison bid for beating a Ku Klux Klan member that accosted him with a shotgun. You have to be one of the best in the world to be able to compete.

UFC President Dana White recently stated that he had no problems with Lesnar bring the WWE Universal Championship with him to the octagon, although he didn't believe that was something Vince McMahon would allow.
