Iran warns US, Israel of 'devastating' response after deadly parade attack, report says
Speaking before the funeral of the victims, he accusedIsrael and the USA of complicity in the attack on a military parade Saturday that wounded more than 60 people as well as claiming the known fatalities.
Four assailants fired on a viewing stand where Iranian officials had gathered to watch the annual event marking the start of the Islamic Republic's 1980-88 war with Iraq.
Of the 25 people killed at Saturday's parade, 12 were from Ahvaz and the rest from elsewhere in Khuzestan province.
State TV hours later reported that all four gunmen had been killed, with three dying during the attack and one later succumbing to his wounds at a hospital.
The "formal incitement against the UAE from within Iran is unfortunate, and has escalated after the Ahvaz attack", said Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash in a tweet.
Iran appeared to have taken the Ahvaz National Resistance's claim more seriously.

"This cowardly act was the work of those very individuals who are rescued by the Americans whenever they are in trouble and who are funded by the Saudis and the (United) Arab Emirates", Khamenei's official Twitter account quoted him as saying.
Soon after the attack, the U.S. State Department issued a statement of sympathy to Iran, calling out what spokesperson Heather Nauert called "the scourge of radical Islamic terrorism".
When asked whether that meant Trump would be willing to sit down with Iran's ayatollah, Pompeo replied, "The president said he'll talk with anyone if we can have a constructive conversation".
Meanwhile, thousands of people packed the streets of the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz to mourn the victims of Saturday's assault.
Rouhani's remarks could refer to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates or Bahrain - close USA military allies that view Iran as a regional menace over its support for militant groups across the Middle East.
Arab separatists in the region claimed the attack and Iranian officials have blamed them for the assault.
Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the United Nations, rejected Rouhani's accusations. The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps spokesman told the outlet, "The attack by some elements of al-Ahvaziya group which is fed by Saudi Arabia, aimed to overshadow the magnificence of the parade by the Iranian armed forces".
"We will identify all terrorists linked to this attack". While Iran still complies with the accord, President Donald Trump withdrew America over the deal in part due to Tehran's ballistic missile program, its "malign behavior" in the Mideast and its support of militant groups like Hezbollah.
It is, however, highly unlikely the Guards will strike any of its foes directly and risk setting off a regional conflict.
Mahmoud Falaki, a teacher attending the funerals, said the ceremony showed Iranians "are always ready to sacrifice ourselves for our country".
Accusations against Gulf countries will nearly certainly antagonise Iran's regional foe Saudi Arabia.
