Welcome to the 256th Android Apps Weekly! Here are the big headlines from the last week
Conduct a search for Fortnite in Google's app store and you'll be greeted by a message that reads "Fortnite Battle Royale by Epic Games, Inc is not available on Google Play". That decision was also followed up with a deal with Samsung to make Fortniteuniquely available to Galaxy Note 9 for a pre-defined period of time. When that's complete, players will need to either sign into an Epic Games account or create a new one.
It is entirely unclear how long will it take for an individual to get the Fortnite Installer link and instructions to download the game on Android smartphone, but the "email invites will start rolling out in the next few days" and Epic Games said that it would be "adding new players regularly as we support more devices".
Fortnite is finally on Android, and it caused a huge fuss (over nothing) about supposed security risks that it would expose users to.
Epic Will Keep Fortnite Off Google's Store to Make More Money
However, novice users are typically discouraged from doing so, because apps from unknown sources could pose a security risk. It seems that the rule book for how to release an Android game is going straight out the window when it comes to Fortnite .
Even though Epic Games will share instructions on how to download Fortnite Beta on Android from its official website, the process is going to be pretty standard.
What would really be unpleasant, though, is if you (or I) download some kind of malware disguised as a modified Fortnite.APK.
Searching for "Fortnite" on the Play Store will yield the result you see above. The Android option is now not available, but it is only a matter of days until it does. What type of Android device you're using will determine where and how you install the game. However, most app developers choose to pay Google's platform fees because they feel that their app will not be found by enough users without a presence on Google Play. Apple has made more than $54 million from the game via its own 30% cut of all in-app spending, Sensor Tower estimates.
We're now enrolled in Fortnite's Android beta, and we'll be sure to bring you our first impressions of the game once we receive the green light.
But PUBG Mobile is filling the void for Google in the best way possible.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 vs Galaxy S9+: What’s Different?
The camera will also alert you to any imperfections in your shot, like if it's too blurry or if someone blinked at the wrong time. Samsung announced that the game will be available on its new Note 9 smartphone today during an event announcing that smartphone.
Motorola won't be making a Moto Z3 Force this year
The phone is splash resistant and has the power button on the left side , with the fingerprint scanner sitting on the right side . From a subscription perspective, the Mod acts like "a data card connected to your phone", according to Moto engineers.
Google's new phones could come with a smart Pixel Stand dock
There seem to be two memory variants - one with 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage and the other using 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. If the rumors about the Google-made Pixel Stand are true, this glass back could be used for wireless charging purposes.
Pence, Pentagon promise 'Space Force' by 2020
Pence portrayed the change as a response to foes' potential aggression rather than any offensive US military effort. Russian and China have made significant advancements, challenging the United States' assets in space.
