LONDON ― President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump touch down in London on Thursday for a working visit, and while his meeting schedule will keep him nearly exclusively outside of the capital, she will be spending some time in town.
Mr Trump is due to land this afternoon before attending a black-tie dinner at Blenheim Palace in his honour, where protesters will gather at the gates. Trump, though, will likely be gone from London before the demonstrations start Friday.
"Several of the events are expected to attract large crowds and there will be road closures in connection with those events", the statementsaid.
However, media coverage may well be dominated by footage of the "Trump baby" balloon as it soars above the iconic Houses of Parliament for a two-hour spell.
