A South African woman is recovering in hospital after being discovered alive in a mortuary fridge
Per Times Select, the woman was one of several people involved in a June 24 vehicular accident and was taken to a morgue after she was declared dead at the scene.
Hours after she apparently died in a auto crash, mortuary technicians found the woman breathing, horrified they could have killed her themselves had they started an autopsy.
The woman, whose name has not been released, had been declared deceased and taken to the morgue after a pileup outside Carletonville, near Johannesburg, on June 24 after her auto rolled, throwing her and two other occupants from the vehicle and killing two, AFP reported.
The woman, who has not been named, was one of three people involved in a auto roll over near Johannesburg on June 24, South African newspaper The Sowetanreports.
