"Zero chance, It will never happen!"

Following widespread criticism for the policy's separation of children from families, President Donald Trump signed an executive order June 20 to keep families together. Temperatures are expected to rise into the 90s on Saturday in Washington, D.C., and across the Midwest, so protesters should prepare for the heat.

It is not clear if or when the children already separated will be reunited with their parents.

Saturday's "Rally against Family Separation" begins with a morning march from City Hall to Boston Common, where a large rally will take place. "No family jails", said another.

"Forcibly separating children from their parents is not about 'deterrence, ' or the legal technicalities of law, or illegal immigration, or anything else President Trump has claimed to justify his latest and most odious outrage", the daily wrote. "We need to provide for these children", she said. "Family detention centers have been consistently found unsuitable and injurious for children".

Families Belong Together, a coalition that has advocated against the zero tolerance policy, is sponsoring the event.

Buzzfeed reported that five immigrant children in federal custody filed a lawsuit Friday against what they called the Trump administration's "cruel policies and practices that unlawfully prolong their detention and delay their reunification with their families".
