The New Orleans Pelicans came home facing an 0-2 defect and protected home court with a dominating victory over the Golden State Warriors, 119-100. Down 2-0 to the defending champion Golden State Warriors, Anthony Davis and company had their backs against the wall.

Game 4 is set for Sunday in New Orleans.

The Golden State Warriors can retake full control of this series with a victory here and improving to a 3-1 lead. He is the first player since he managed it in 2011 to tally 20 or more assists in a playoff game.

Draymond Green and Rondo continued to get chippy with each other, but Green insisted after the game that he's not the instigator this time around.

Davis and the Pelicans may not end up winning this series, but they certainly are proving that they should be taken seriously as contenders.

New Orleans hasn't been almost as impressive as they were in the first round when they swept the No.3 seed Portland Trail Blazers.

While New Orleans poured it on, the Warriors were not short on effort trying to climb their way back into the game. That never came to fruition, however, as the Pelicans put together their most impressive quarter of the series, blasting the Warriors 31-16 in the period.

The Pelicans are shooting the ball well in the postseason as they are hitting 49.4 percent from the field as a team. Thompson hasn't missed a free throw since the playoffs began (Neither has Curry), and has been shooting 46.5% from the field. New Orleans also had open space on the perimeter, going 14-of-30 from 3-point range. Power forward Anthony Davis turned in another fine performance with 25 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocked shots and two steals.

NFL Draft Day 2: Steelers Snag A Pair Of Cowboys
Receivers Marcell Ateman and Chris Lacy, and safety Tre Flowers are among the OSU players who could be targeted on Saturday. Rudolph was projected as a fringe first round draft pick whose status as an Air Raid quarterback would limit his appeal.

1- Will the Pelicans get a fair shake from the referees?

"He's had some of his best games playing right here", Gentry said. Even on offense, the fact he is willing to continuously cut and play without the ball always in his hands creates a culture that no one, not even him is bigger than the team.

The Warriors were focused on keeping their edge after a blowout Game 1 win. But New Orleans can make things a little more interesting with a win tonight. The game starts at 7:00 central.

"You can't get assists without your teammates", Rondo said.

Now, thanks to their best shooting outing of the series against the most threatening 3-point shooting bunch in National Basketball Association history, the Pelicans will not have the chance to be the first.
