He finally returned to Instagram on April 29 to break his silence, but used it to celebrate the fact that he finally had a great game in the National Basketball Association playoffs, helping his Cleveland Cavaliers move on to the second round with 15 points in a crucial game seven.

Fans weren't too thrilled about Thompson's post.

"On to the next one really applies to you on and off the court doesn't it"; "there wasn't a single post about his son being born either", "Jerk". "Your side piece must be in her 3rd trimester", a follower said.
