On Wednesday night, he tweeted a list of companies that advertise on her show.

Lauren Hogg, the sister of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, ripped into Laura Ingraham after the talk show host issued an apology to her brother in the wake of a growing advertiser boycott. After that move began to gain traction on social media, Ingraham said she was sorry.

Ingraham, in two tweets, apologized Thursday afternoon for "any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the fearless victims of Parkland". The Fox News contributor took to Twitter to slam 17-year-old activist David Hogg for the college rejections he told TMZ about on March 27.

" As constantly, he's welcome to go back to the program anytime for an effective conversation", she included.

An investigation into the security breach was under way, and that anyone found to have neglected his duties would be punished. The Taliban faces growing pressure to take up a recent offer by President Ghani of peace talks to end the 16-year war.

"For the record, I believe my show was the first to feature David immediately after that horrific shooting and even noted how "poised" he was given the tragedy", she continued.

Hogg's boycott proved to be stunningly effective, with advertisers including Rachael Ray's Nutrish pet food, online travel site TripAdvisor and home-furnishings retailer Wayfair all pulling their advertising.

"Why do you support this?" he tweeted at several companies, including Arby's Sleep Number, AT&T, Allstate, Hulu, and Liberty Mutual.

"In our view, these statements focused on a high school student, cross the line of decency", the Needham, Massachusetts, company said in a statement.

TripAdvisor has already made clear that it will pull its advertising from the show, saying it does not "condone the inappropriate remarks made by this broadcaster", The New York Times reported.

Attorney Lisa Bloom also called out the Fox News host.

As reported earlier, Hogg, who survived the February 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, told TMZ that he was rejected by four University of California schools to which he applied for undergraduate admission.
