The trio has admitted to conspiring to scuff the ball in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage over South Africa, where the national team is in the middle of a four Test series.

An emotional Australia cricket coach Darren Lehmann said on Thursday he was stepping down after this week's test match against South Africa due to abuse he and his family received over a ball-tampering scandal that has rocked the sport.
Cricket Australia, however, is expected to officially confirm the announcement of their penalties later today.
Warner and Smith have been banned from top-level cricket for a year while Bancroft got nine months.
