Named the happiest country according to the UN

China is the 86th happiest country in the world according to the 2018 World Happiness Report (PDF), released by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) for the United Nations on Wednesday.
The report added that the "sociopolitical system" in the United States produces more income inequality - a major contributing factor to unhappiness - than other countries with comparatively high incomes.
The country's migrant population in 2017 made up 31.9 percent of the total population.
This is according to the latest World Happiness Report.
Finland topped the list that combines economic, health and polling data compiled by economists that are averaged over three years from 2015 to 2017. It'll be presented to the United Nations just before World Happiness Day on March 20.
Mauritius is now the happiest country in Africa, followed by crisis-torn Libya, Algeria and Morocco respectively.
The 10 happiest countries were also 10 of the top 11 spots in the rankings of immigrant happiness.

The report also analyzes areas that pose a risky threat to quality of life, focusing specifically on three health problems within its penultimate chapters: obesity, the opioid crisis and depression, all problems that are especially acute within the USA, which tumbled four spots to the 18th place on 2018's list.
