Meet the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue's 2018 cover model

Danielle Herrington has been selected to be the cover model for this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue
The magazine also gave us a behind-the-scenes glimpse at moment the brunette bombshell learned she was the issue's cover model from other than model Tyra Banks, who broke the news ANTM-elimination style during a faux photo shoot.
After appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue three times, Upton has this year handed her crown over to 24-year-old Danielle Herrington. In Raisman's photo, she's used phrases such as, "Women do not have to be modest to be respected" along her right side, with "fierce" on her right arm. "I was balling. I worked so hard for this", she said this morning.
Bouchard, a stunner who has suddenly become more famous for her exploits on the beach than on the tennis court, is topless in some of the pics, with just her arm and hand covering her breasts. "Her being the first black woman on the cover was so important to me".
Those three facts create apparent contradictions, but Raisman, one of more than 200 women who have publicly come forward with stories of abuse at the hands of U.S. gymnastics molester Larry Nassar, has taken power away from Nassar and men like him.
Danielle started her career just a year ago and stole the hearts of so many SI Swimsuit fans.
Herrington said she hopes to continue to inspire young black girls the way Banks inspired her. All those things separately don't guarantee a cover, though. "She owned every single second of her shoot", the editor continued.
