While flying down the luge track at 70 miles per hour, Sweeney's sled wobbled out of control, eventually turning her sideways.

"I don't think Curve 9 is risky, but I am anxious because it's technical", Mazdzer said in a video for NBC, explaining how it can throw a luger off by tenths of a second, which can be the difference in a medal. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
"I'm very sore and pretty stiff", Sweeney told NBC. So thanks for all the support, you guys. "I knew I wanted to continue being an athlete, but I didn't want to only be an athlete".
This was the first Olympics for Sweeney, who missed out on a spot in the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
"Curve 9 is extremely challenging, and the people that can [handle it] four times, will have the best shot at an Olympic medal".
