Gattis will take over the Tide's receivers from Mike Locksley, who is being promoted to offensive coordinator after Brian Daboll returned to the NFL.

Locksley, whose title in 2017 was co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach, joined the Alabama staff in 2016 as an offensive analyst. Locksley has been on the Tide staff since the 2016 season.

Funding CHIP for 10 years would actually save $6 billion: CBO
The program is for children from families who can't afford health insurance but whose income disqualifies them from Medicaid. As it happens, that estimate only included seven years of funding, for reasons I couldn't quite figure out.

With news of Mike Locksley becoming the next offensive coordinator for Alabama football, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban is still working to fill out the rest of the coaching staff. That experiment lasted just two months before the former Southern Cal head coach left to become the Atlanta Falcons' offensive coordinator last February.

Prior to landing in Tuscaloosa, Locksley served as Maryland's offensive coordinator and QB coach from 2012-15, serving a brief stint as the interim coach after the firing of Randy Edsall.

Both nations were scheduled to meet later this month with International Olympic Committee officials to discuss those plans. Now, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may be sending his favorite band to South Korea.

Daboll helped lead the Crimson Tide offense to the program's fifth national championship under Saban despite an inconsistent passing game behind second-year starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. Before coaching at Maryland, Locksley was the head coach of New Mexico from 2009-11. He previously led the offenses at Maryland and IL.
