Princess Charlotte Looks Adorable In Pictures From Her First Day Of School
09 January 2018, 12:30 | Ivan Casey
Richard Pohle The Times PA Wire
"The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nurseryat the Willcocks Nursery School". The darling two-year-old worked the camera, sporting a red coat, Mary Janes, pink scarf, and the ideal dose of sass in the portraits, which were photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. And after photos taken by the Duchess of Cambridge were released by Kensington Palace to mark the special occasion, all eyes were on the little girl's adorable outfit - especially her pink pony print rucksack. Plus, she also kept a short curly bob, much like she does today, at the age of 91.
She had a little backpack on her back, and was beaming with excitement, showing none of the nerves that her older brother, Princes George, 4, displayed when he arrived for his first day of primary school a year ago.
Charlotte has joined Willcocks Nursery School, close to the family's Kensington Palace home. Taking after your great-grandmother isn't all that bad, especially when she's the Queen.
Charlotte's school is located near the school that her brother, Prince George, attends in London.
It encourages "high standards, excellence and good manners" and has an all-female teaching staff.
The afternoon school has fees of £1,800 per term and is less structured than the morning session but provides a similar wide range of activities including art and music. Can you believe how big she's gotten?
The 2-year-old is shown on the steps of the palace in one photo and standing holding onto a rail in another. He now attends the posh London academy Thomas's Battersea.
