Letterman Nabs Obama as First Guest for New Netflix Show

Veteran former talk show host David Letterman will return to television on January 12 in a new Netflix show where his first guest will be former US President Barack Obama Netflix said on Friday

Former President Barack Obama is scheduled to give his first post-White House interview in the US next week on David Letterman's new Netflix show.

While the show will be Obama's return to a TV talk show, the new monthly Netflix program will also mark Letterman's return to show business after leaving his historic run hosting "The Late Show" back in 2015. Two years later in August 2017, it was revealed that he would be launching a new show with the streaming network. Late-night legend David Letterman, however, is going about it a little differently.

A representative for the Los Angeles Coroner's office told PEOPLE police are investigating Jordan's death as a possible accident. Jordan was married twice, once to Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca (though the marriage, in 2013, was annulled after a week).

The six-episode, 60-minute talk show series is set to debut January 12, with a new episode released each subsequent month.

With a title like that, Letterman will need to bring on some truly top-notch guests - and he delivers.
