ESOBarack Obama topped the list of most admired men in the US according to the annual Gallup poll, with President Trump coming in second, the first time since 2008 the incumbent president didn't top the list.

Obama is only the second former president to win the "most admired" title, along with Dwight Eisenhower in 1967 and 1968.

Trump's second place standing adds his name to a rare subset of incumbent presidents; those who failed to be named Gallup's most admired man. But Trump's unpopularity kept him from the top spot, by a margin of 3 percent.

The last team sold was the Buffalo Bills for $1.4 billion to Terry Pegula in 2014, Forbes Magazine reported previous year . The Panthers announced Friday that the team had launched an internal investigation into Richardson's workplace misconduct.

Gallup has been asking about the most admired man since 1946 and the most admired woman since 1948. "The incumbent president is the usual victor, since he is arguably the most prominent figure in the country", Gallup reports.

It was her 16th consecutive year, and Gallup sounds skeptical that the streak will continue, as "her popularity [is] at a nadir and the percentage naming her as most-admired the lowest in 15 years" at 9%.

On the women's side, former first lady Michelle Obama just barely trailed behind Hillary Clinton in clinching the second spot with 7 percent. Of those 71 surveys, the incumbent president has won 58 times, the poll noted.

Facebook and Universal Music strike huge agreement
Under the deal, Facebook has agreed to compensate Universal and musicians when users post videos that include copyrighted material.

As for the rest of Americans, one quarter can not name someone for the top spot.

Nine percent of participants said they most admired Clinton, which was a decline from her 12% rating a year ago.

The results are based on telephone interviews conducted between December 4-11 with 1,049 adults nationwide. "However, retaining that stature may be more challenging in coming years with her political career likely over".

Thomas Fire now third-most destructive in state history
The 422-square-mile (1,093-sq. kilometer) blaze has destroyed more than 700 homes. Rob Lowe's home didn't burn in the Thomas Fire, but flames came close.

Other names high on the lists include: Pope Francis, Rev. Billy Graham, John McCain, Elon Musk, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Warren, Angela Merkel and Queen Elizabeth II.
