Who could buy the Carolina Panthers?
Long-time Carolina Panthers executive Tina Becker was named chief operating officer of the National Football League club on Monday, hours after scandal-hit owner Jerry Richardson announced the team is for sale.
New ownership could result in relocation and the Panthers' obligation to stay in Charlotte expires in the summer of 2019.
"These have been some of the most hard days of my 19 years with the Panthers, but I am lifted up by the strong resolve and the commitment our employees have shown to this organization", Becker said in a statement released by the team.
The report also states on at least one occasion, Richardson directed a racial slur at an African-American Panthers scout.
Rohit Sharma triples double joy
He would have had his heart in his mouth when a better throw from long off could have resulted in his run out on 197. His breathtaking knock included a dozen sixes and 13 boundaries as he literally toyed with the opposition bowlers.
The Panthers announced Friday that the team had launched an internal investigation into Richardson's workplace misconduct.
The producer and entrepreneur tweeted he wants to buy the Carolina Panthers.
"We've been weathering the storm and not letting the media affect and alter our focus", Panthers quarterback Cam Newton said. The last was the Buffalo Bills, which sold for more than $1.1 billion in 2014, a record at the time. ATTENTION NFL! This is a chance to make history!
"These have been some of the most hard days of my 19 years with the Panthers, but I am lifted up by the strong resolve and the commitment our employees have shown to this organization", Becker said in a story posted on Panthers.com.
He also said in an Instagram post that he would "immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation and put him in the running for next year's starting quarterback".
The New York rapper, estimated by Forbes magazine to be worth $820 million, voiced his interest as Panthers owner and founder Jerry Richardson stepped down in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.
"I know the allegations are serious", Rivera said. The last team sold was the Buffalo Bills for $1.4 billion to Terry Pegula in 2014, Forbes Magazine reported previous year.

The Israel-Gaza tensions have apparently been fed by Washington's recognition last week of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Palestinians in the coastal territory have recently fired both rockets and mortar rounds into the Jewish State.
