YouTube reportedly launching its Music Service in March

Amazon also said Friday its Music Unlimited subscription streaming service is available in 28 additional countries. The project is known as Remix internally, and is due to launch in March 2018.

The remix will be an attempt to combine the two aforementioned services into one convenient product. If you love to have such a platform from where you can explore all the videos of your favourite artists and other music, YouTube is launching its Music Service platform very soon. It has been reported that the company has reached out to music artists in an attempt to promote Remix.

According to Bloomberg, YouTube has already signed a contract with Warner Music Group and is in a talk with Sony Music Entertainment, Merlin, and Universal Music Group, and some other group of independent labels. After the not so stellar performances of Google Play Music and YouTube Red, reports are saying they will be trying once again to launch a new service that will not just bring in revenue but also appease record companies who are asking for better revenue from YouTube. The latter suffered slow growth, and the company made a decision to rebrand it as YouTube Red. It may happen that Amazon Play Music will offer some discounts for its services in the countries which has recently been added here. Also, YouTube launched the ad-free, subscription-based YouTube Red in 2016 with exclusive video content from popular creators. In comparison, Spotify now has 140 million monthly users, 50 million of which are paying for a monthly subscription.

YouTube hired former Warner Music executive Lyor Cohen previous year to help oversee its music operations and serve as a liaison to the record business.

Iowa fans revel in keeping Ohio State out of College Football Playoff
Favoring a one-loss team without any substantial wins costs the fans more than it even costs the Buckeyes in the long term. Clemson (12-1) held onto the top spot and the playoff's top overall seed following its convincing 38-3 win over then-No.

The company must overcome several hurdles if it aims to meet a March target. Yet major record labels say the growth would be even more significant if not for YouTube, which they criticize for not compensating them enough, considering how much people use the site to listen to tunes.
