Boston Companies Make Survey's Best Places to Work List

Expedia won the in ranking last year
In addition to being recognized for the second year in a row as one of the Best Places to Work, Paylocity was also named by Glassdoor to its 2017 Best Places to Interview list, and Paylocity CEO Steve Beauchamp was named to the job site's 2017 Highest-Rated CEOs list. That means it beat out companies like Google (No. 5), Lululemon (No. 6), and Microsoft (No. 39). To be placed in the top 50 year after year is a huge achievement and it is tremendous to be one of only seven employers to have made the United Kingdom ranking four years in a row.
Companies that top Glassdoor's list seem to have cracked that code.
The awards are based on the input of workers who provide anonymous feedback through reviews about their job, work environment and employer over the past year.
The list honors companies that have 1,000 or more employees and those selected were chosen by using Glassdoor's award proprietary algorithm as well as each employer's "quantity, quality and consistency" of employee reviews between the period of November 1st, 2016 and October 22nd, 2017.
"What we really see them appreciate most is the company's mission-driven culture, transparent leadership and the fact that their work literally impacts the lives of billions of people worldwide", said Hohman.
Workplace attributes taken into account for the ranking were overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation & benefits, culture & values, senior management, work/life balance, and business outlook, as well as whether employees would recommend their employer to a friend.
The job-hunting website on Wednesday released its list of top large companies to work for, as voted by employees.
Another remarked: "If you are looking for job satisfaction, reward and enjoyment, this is an ideal company to work for". "What's more, they offer a company culture that their employees truly believe in".
