Samsung Galaxy A5 2018 has been leaked ahead of launch
Codenamed Star 1 and Star 2 - and going by model numbers SM-G960 and SM-G965 - the S9 and S9+ will feature the same 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved-edge Super AMOLED "Infinity" displays, respectively, as their predecessors. It's likely the phones will use the Snapdragon 845 and the equivalent 10nm Exynos version in selected markets.
It will also only feature 4GB of RAM versus 6GB on the larger unit.
Samsung is rumored to reveal its next flagship phones aka Galaxy S9 and S9+ at MWC 2018 - which will happen sometime around the end of February.
Both models will have 64GB of internal storage, microSD slots for additional storage and - believe it or not - 3.5mm headphone jacks. This should address complaints about the Galaxy S8/S8+ and the Note 8 which most users found the fingerprint sensor to be quite awkwardly placed. Ahead of the official launch, a new report coming from ET News claims that Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup will boast the similar hardware setup and basic specs but the difference will be in the software department, Gadget360.

There have been some other whispers about the Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini so it could be a good bet that the phone will be released as part of the Galaxy S range. This will be backwards compatible with the company's 2017 flagships, and will allow the phones to lay flat and turn their screens into a touchpad or a virtual keyboard when attached to an external display. It's early days, but the leaks will begin flowing freely soon enough.
For comparison, deals at this data point on the luscious Galaxy S8 usually set you back at least £37 per month, and that's before you factor in upfront costs.
