Rose McGowan Surrenders to Cops In Felony Cocaine Case

Mc Gowan who surrendered to Airports Authority Police on charges of possession of a controlled substance

Rose McGowan is in love with the coco (allegedly!) The actress turned herself in on Tuesday, over an outstanding warrant for possession of cocaine.

After surrendering Tuesday, the actress tweeted images reflecting her mood.

The warrant was obtained on February 1, 2017, after a police investigation of McGowan's personal belongings "tested positive for narcotics and were left behind on a flight arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport" on January 20, the Airports Authority Police Department told us.

(Hughes did not respond to a request for comment.) Several months earlier, McGowan had tweeted about being raped by a "studio head", and had included details that seemed to point to the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

The newspaper reported that Weinstein paid her a 100,000 dollar (£76,000) settlement in 1997 to "avoid litigation and buy peace" over an incident in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival.

McGowan and her attorney, Jim Hundley, are arguing that the drugs could have been planted according to a memorandum to the Virginia Commonwealth's Attorney asking that the charges be dismissed, cited by The New Yorker.

Virginia's newly-elected openly transgender state representative
Roem led by almost 10 percentage points with almost all of the vote counted, according to preliminary, unofficial results. Roem unseated Bob Marshall, who has been a conservative Republican figure in the Virginia State Legislature for 26 years.

Weinstein has “unequivocally” denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.

"I had it in the side pocket of my backpack, and I left it on my seat as I went to the bathroom", the 44-year-old actress told Farrow. McGowan says she was unsure if the warrant was legitimate, which is why she waited until this week to turn herself in. An arrest warrant had been released in late October after a small amount of cocaine was found in her wallet, which she had left onboard a flight to Virginia. I've been maligned. And you know what? After a report from the Washington Post came out about her subsequent arrest warrant, McGowan went straight to the police.

"I will clearly plead not guilty", McGowan said. She says she met with Weinstein in 2015 to discuss a potential job opportunity on the show Marco Polo.
