GameStop Delays All-You-Can-Play Used Game Rental Program, PowerPass

The company hasn't offered an explanation as to why its chose to halt the program, instead citing "program limitations" that necessitated the abrupt stop. They can bring the game they checked out back to GameStop for a full refund. It offers subscribers any used game in a store for six months in return for $60.
"We have elected to temporarily pause the roll out of the new PowerPass subscription service, based on a few program limitations we have identified", a GameStop spokesperson told Kotaku. Those stores have been told to pull all promotional materials related to the PowerPass, according to Kotaku.
