Paul Walker's daughter, who previously settled with the estate of the man who was driving in the fatal crash that killed her actor father in 2013, has reportedly settled a wrongful death suit she filed against Porsche as well.
Meadow Walker filed a wrongful death lawsuit in September 2015, claiming that design flaws in the auto maker's Carrera GT model prevented her father from escaping when the vehicle caught fire after crashing.
Paul Walker's 18-year-old daughter Meadow has settled her wrongful death lawsuit with Porsche over her late father's November 2013 death. In 2015, Walker sued Porsche after claiming that her father was trapped in his auto by a faulty seatbelt and burned alive in his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.
The lawsuit also alleged the Carrera GT had a "history of instability and control issues", accoridng to The Blast.
The suit also alleged that the car's seat belt was installed in such a way that when the vehicle fractured on impact, the shoulder belt was yanked with the rear engine compartment while the seat belt anchor stayed put, trapping Walker in the burning auto. The terms of the settlement are confidential, but both parties are asking for the suit to be dismissed.
According to Daily News, Paul's father, Paul Walker III, also reached a settlement with the Porsche.
Two years of bitter struggle later, Porsche and Meadow Walker agreed to cancel the lawsuits.
