Police are now looking for a 37-year-old suspect, Radeed Labeeb Prince.
There was heavy police presence along Interstate 95 in Maryland and Delaware. He said it is Harford County's investigation and he could not release any additional information. The man said Prince did not get physical with him, but wrote: "I do not want to wait until he will".
The article didn't identify the co-worker or the business.
The man being sought in connection with a mass shooting at a Harford County business park was sacked from another job earlier this year after attacking another employee, according to a restraining order filed against him earlier this year. Heather Todd said Prince has rented a three-bedroom town house since November 2014 and lives there with his girlfriend.
A Maryland property manager said Prince often paid his rent late, but was always polite and cooperative. But she said they always ended up paying their rent and the company never had to schedule an eviction. He is believed to be in black GMC Acadia with DE plates.

Three people are dead and two are injured after a reported workplace shooting at an industrial park northeast of Baltimore, officials say.
Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler called the shooting "one of the most heinous acts we've ever seen in our county". The sheriff says the two wounded people are in serious condition.
Several schools in the area were on a "modified lockdown" and said it was being done "out of an abundance of caution", according to Harford County Public Schools.
